Which class is right for my child?

Mini-Tots: Ages 3-5

The perfect intro to Tennis for your child. All the skills required to progress to the next level. Basic techniques, skills and welcome to the tennis court.

Mini-Reds: Ages 5-8

Small courts with short rackets and soft balls. It’s just like the real game and gives players opportunities to have long rallies and play different types of shots.

Mini-Orange: Ages 8-9

Played with shorter rackets, softer balls and courts are bigger and wider than the red stage, but still smaller than full-size tennis courts allowing players to develop a rounded game whilst learning a range of techniques and tactics.

Mini Green: Ages 9-10

Full size tennis court, with bigger rackets and balls which are a little softer than yellow balls. It’s the next stage before moving on to full compression yellow balls on a full sized court and helps players develop and improve all aspects of their game.

U12: Ages 10-12

The first step away from mini-tennis & on to a full sized court with full sized balls. Develop physically, tactically & mentally, as well as building on technique.

U14: Ages 12-14

More advanced technical work with an emphasis on tactical and metal areas of the game.

In-play scenarios encourage improvement of skills required to effectively attack, defend and neutralise the opponent.

U16: Ages 14-16

Continued development of skills required to effectively attack, defend and neutralise the opponent. Advanced Technical progression alongside tactical nouse. Mental aspects of the game improved through in-play scenarios.

U18: Ages 16-18

High level technical work, with a focus on how to win. Tactical and metal work becomes more important as we aim towards the complete Tennis players.
